Acoustic Display Console

The
Acoustic Display Console variant of Q-70 provides users with a choice
of modula air- or water-cooled shipboard enclosures or SQQ-89 Undersea
Warfare Acoustic Display Console-specific water-cooled versions. All
use standard Q-70 modules and components to provide commercial
off-the-shelf (COTS) based upon open systems tactical computing and
display solutions. The Acoustic Display Console and SQQ-89 enclosures
provide improved maintainability and human engineering benefits over
the baseline Q-70, including dual 19 inch CRT monitors, sonar audio
and X-terminal panels. They also have a 20 inch flickerfree AMLCD flat
panel option that is perfect for sonargrams. The SQQ-89 specific
console replaces the OJ-452/UYQ-21 consoles. |
